Safety Compliance
Navigated complex on-site logistics & implemented safety measures whilst ensuring full compliance with MMP requirements
Amet’s tailored solution:
- Tested the soil and found it was suitable for re-use
- Utilised our extensive network to identify sites in the local area in need of topsoil
- Discovered that the site directly neighbouring our site needed topsoil for their Public Open Space areas
- Our team coordinated with all stakeholders, including the client, earthworks contractor, and environmental consultants, to facilitate a direct transfer of materials between the two sites.
- Material Management Plans were completed for both sites to ensure compliance
- Used Moxy articulated dumpers, operating on a carefully planned route that prioritised safety and efficiency across the two sites. This included strategically placed banksmen, one-way traffic procedures, and a live communication system to ensure smooth and safe operations.
