Scope
Amet was contracted to deliver a £1.25 million package for the new Thanet Parkway Station, part of the HS1 development in East Kent. This project involved specialist soil supply, as well as wider soft landscaping works.

- Application of 900m3 of bio-remediation soil for contaminant filtering – an Amet Contracting Group Ltd product
- 22,415 mixed species marginal aquatics for SuDS
- Use of biofuel in all plant equipment to reduce environmental impact
- Installation of over 74,000 plants, including ivy plants, native trees, hedging plants and herbaceous shrubs
- Implementation of 25,792m2 native wildflower and meadow seeding
- 52 heavy standard trees planted in specified tree pits and fixed using Platipus anchor systems, installed in elevated positions
- Utilisation of rope access techniques for railside embankment planting
